AfLers in China Mainland II: Shanghai Noon

Shanghai, 25.05.2006,

Nanjing was a memory, a memorial city it was the previous capital city of China before the 1949 revolution, now I'm already in Shanghai, a colourful, lightful and brightful city, it's the largest city in the mainland China.

the Shanghai Noon (this title was taken from Jackie Chan's Shanghai Noon), and
Barbarosa Lounge (at Nanjing west Rd),

Full of foreigner (I thought this place must be like Bali, even though I've never been in Bali before, but I guessed Bali must be like this place)

The episode of sadness and happiness, how easy life to change, we danced, we shared a glass of cranberry drink, and then we went out from the bar, a high speed car came accross next to us, suddenly my aussie friend was in silence, he remembered his cousin that past away by a car accident, then we're in mourning situation, praying...how easy the BIG DESTINY changes our situation, emotions...the only thing that we know about Him, is the fact that we don't know Him well...

Take o take me as I AM
Summon out what I shall BE
Set Your Seal upon my heart
And live in me.

AfLers in mainland China

It's so strange to be in China, because few months ago I was in Dharamshala, North India, where most of Tibetan refugees live and survive, there, almost in every cafees there's a big banner written with " Boycott all China products".

And also it's so strange, after I visited Nanjing Memorial Massacre Hall (memorial hall for Japanese army's cruelty victims), in that hall it's stated on that such kind of violence should be never happened again in this world, sometime it's weird for me to see that kind of expression of chinese (government or people?), because, I did experience also in Dharamshala, I did visit the same hall which express how the violence and torture which has been done by Chinese to the Tibetan civilians (it's exactly similar with what Japanese army did to the citizen of Nanjing), oh my God am I living in a double standard world? so many integrity gaps in this world!

And it's so strange to see a lots of 'global stuffs' in this such kind of communist country, such as Starbuck coffee, McDonald, KFC,Cokes etc...,

This is world that we live, and this IS LIFE !
